Our perfume bottles use FEA 13 and FEA 15 crimp neck finishes, the two standards used across the global fragrance industry. A crimp neck is sealed by clamping a metal collar onto the bottle, producing the airtight seal that alcohol-based fragrance requires and preventing the slow evaporation that ruins top notes.
There is a sourcing advantage in these standards worth planning around. Because FEA 13 and FEA 15 are industry-wide specifications, pumps, sprayers, and collars are interchangeable across any bottle sharing that finish. If you launch a 30ml and a 50ml bottle on the same neck finish, both SKUs use identical hardware — one pump order instead of two, one set of minimums instead of two, and a visually consistent line. Many indie fragrance brands use exactly this approach for their first launch.
